The leading equestrian sports event sets a new record and confirms its status as European leader

The 28th edition of Equita Lyon and Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International took place from 26 to 30 October on the Eurexpo Lyon site.

The 2022 edition beats its best visitor records. During the 5 days of the event, nearly 178,000 visitors were welcomed, which is 7% more than in 2021. This is more than in 2019, before the sanitary crisis, which had seen an exceptional attendance of 175,000 people.

As for the riders, the victories were memorable on the great international riding arena in Lyon

The 2022 edition of the Longines Equita Lyon Concours Hippique International had the honour of welcoming some exceptional riders. In the FEI Dressage World Cup, it was the German Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, Olympic champion and leader of the FEI international ranking, who won in Lyon for the third time in a row.

In show jumping, French rider Julien Epaillard achieved a record in Lyon: he won all three of the competition's major events, including the Longines FEI World Cup.

GL events Live was also able to demonstrate its many skills by providing more than 9,000 grandstand seats, 4,000 m² of structures, furniture, stands, hospitality, energy, audiovisual and signage services.
