The Swiss watch-maker Longines – which has a long history of commitment to equestrian sports – and GL events are long-term partners in the Longines Equita Lyon, International Equestrian Competition. This major event attracts the very best international riders, with visitors having the opportunity to enjoy four World Cup stages promoted by the FEI (International Equestrian Federation): the Longines FEI Show Jumping World Cup, the FEI Dressage World Cup, the FEI Driving World Cup and the FEI Jumping Ponies' Trophy, the pony show-jumping World Cup.

A trade fair boasting over 750 exhibitors

In addition to its top-level riding competitions, Equita Lyon brings together more than  750 exhibitors and breeders, with eleven arenas and paddocks hosting non-stop events. The fair includes an area devoted to horse breeding, where some 40 breeds of horses and ponies will be presented, as well as a Health Area with professionals specialised in the well-being of riders and horses.

The fair also hosts the Hippolia Start-up Village by Equita Lyon. This area provides a real springboard for young innovative companies in the equestrian sector. Over the course of the show, visitors and a jury of professionals will vote for the "best equestrian start-up in France".

The guest of honour for this year's equestrian performing arts show is the Alexis Grüss Company, which will be presenting Signature!

Every year, the Longines Equita Lyon International Equestrian Competition organises two evenings combining top-level sport and equestrian entertainment. Following the first part of the evening devoted to international show jumping, an original equestrian performing-arts show is presented to the spectators. This year's show is produced by the Alexis Grüss Company and entitled Signature, an original creation that is brimming with energy and excitement, thanks to the amazing skill and talent of all the artists involved. The performance is enhanced by live music played by the Company's orchestra, directed by Sylvain Rolland and accompanied by the singer Candice Paris.
