New Name, New Ambition: The GL events Foundation Enters a New Chapter in the Group’s Commitment

Created in 2020, the Group’s corporate foundation is now evolving into the GL events Foundation. This name change marks a new stage in structuring the Group’s social commitment, with a clear shift from support to action.

The GL events Foundation continues to operate closely within the territories where the Group is present, in line with its local roots and its role in sustaining the ecosystems it helps animate.

Organized around three pillars—People, World, and Art—the Foundation supports projects of general interest in the social, environmental, and cultural fields:

  • PEOPLE: Improving living conditions for women, men, and children, especially through access to education, food, and healthcare
  • WORLD: Contributing to biodiversity preservation and environmental protection
  • ART: Fostering the transmission of knowledge, cultures, and skills

Since its creation, the GL events Foundation has supported several impactful initiatives with long-term, local value.
In Benin, it supports the Yasmine Mirabel association, which provides street children with stable living conditions, education, and a future.

In São Paulo, it works with the Franco-Brazilian NGO ARKA, which has operated for over 20 years in the Vila Prudente favela, financing daily meals for 130 children, sports activities, and their path to professional integration.
It also supports biodiversity conservation by partnering with the Arboretum of Roure in the Alpes-Maritimes, which experiments with the introduction of rare tree species adapted to climate change.

Lastly, it partners with the association “Sport dans la Ville,” promoting youth inclusion through sport.

With this new direction, the GL events Foundation now aims to launch its own initiatives. The first project will begin in January 2026.
This initiative marks the beginning of a new phase, driven by the commitment of GL events teams, and a call is already being made for future internal ambassadors to help share the Foundation’s actions and embody its ambitions across the Group.
