MARSEILLE FAIR 2025: A CENTENARY AT THE HEART OF THE CITY AND ITS PEOPLE

From September 26 to October 6, 2025, the Marseille International Fair is preparing for a historic edition. For its centenary, this unmissable popular event in southern France will celebrate one hundred years of encounters, discoveries, and conviviality at the heart of Parc Chanot.

A CENTENARY TO CELEBRAT

Created in 1924, the Marseille Fair is part of the collective memory of the city’s residents. The 2025 edition, an exceptional anniversary, will showcase a century of history, sharing, and festive moments that have shaped the life of Marseille. This milestone is also an opportunity to highlight what makes the city vibrant today and tomorrow: its talents, creativity, and openness.

“This is a unique edition,” emphasizes Aurélie Prost, Operational Director for Marseille. “This hundredth edition is an opportunity to celebrate the Fair, to celebrate the city, and to bring together all those who keep Marseille’s heart beating.”

A PROGRAM LOOKING TO THE FUTUR

After highlighting its heritage in previous editions, the 2025 Fair is firmly focused on the future. The program will showcase Marseille’s talents—athletes, musicians, artists, and entrepreneurs alike. Exclusive exhibitions, major festive evenings, a sports village, innovation competitions, and international pavilions will bring eleven days of excitement to life.

More than 1,000 exhibitors, 55% of them from the local economy, will offer visitors a diverse and rich commercial experience. From crafts to home living, shopping to gastronomy, and world cultures, the Fair remains the place to meet, try, enjoy, and discover new consumer trends.

MARSEILLE, A CITY CLOSE TO THE HEAR

The Marseille Fair holds a special place in the event landscape. Located in the very center of the city at Parc Chanot, just steps from the Vélodrome stadium, it is a true place of life and encounters. For GL events, Marseille is above all a city close to the heart, shaped by its energy, history, and openness to the Mediterranean.

This centenary will also be the first opportunity to discover the initial upgrades from the ongoing works at Parc Chanot initiated by the Group. From this edition onwards, visitors will enjoy newly greened areas and relaxation spaces with urban furniture, including the renovated Palais des Arts garden and the Palmeraie at the heart of the site.

These transformations are part of a long-term approach to make the park greener, more accessible, and better integrated into its surroundings. Regular communication is provided to local residents to follow the progress of the works—a tangible way of showing that commitments made are being turned into visible achievements.

The Marseille Fair remains above all a great celebration open to everyone, where shopping, shows, gastronomy, and moments of sharing come together. Each year, it attracts several hundred thousand visitors, drawn by its unique open-air atmosphere. In 2025, its centenary promises even more emotions, discoveries, and conviviality.
