Since 1992 Lingotto Fiere is the Turin exhibition centre, born from the transformation of the former FIAT factories, symbol of the Italian industrial history. The building has been renovated by Renzo Piano, and now is a primary economic engine of the territory with about 50 events hosted every year, and home of the most prestigious exhibitions in Turin, which attract an audience of about one Million people.
The venue includes three pavilions that can be activated jointly or separately, large outdoor areas and two galleries hosting the main services for visitors (ATM, restaurants, shops) and meeting rooms. The complex is well integrated into the city: served by a Metro station that takes less than 10’ minutes to city center and the Porta Nuova train station it is also easily reachable also from the main European motorways.
In the same hub of Lingotto Fiere, the Lingotto Compound hosts three high quality hotels, restaurants, a shopping gallery, a multiplex, two museums (Pinacoteca Agnelli and Museo Carpano), the first born Eataly (famous Italian food market), University poles and offices. Also in a walking distance, there is the Museo dell’Automobile.
