HEAVENT AWARDS: TOULOUSE SPACE FESTIVAL RECOGNIZED

The Toulouse Space Festival, held at the MEETT Exhibition, Convention & Congress Centre in Toulouse, was honored on March 26, 2026, for its strong territorial roots and its ability to bring people together at the Heavent Awards in Cannes, as part of Heavent Meetings, a leading European event for professionals in the events industry.

This award, presented in the category “Event produced or co-produced by a destination, a venue or an exhibition center,” highlights the ability of venues to design events aligned with the key industries of their regions and to enhance their attractiveness.

An event serving a sector of excellencE

Conceived in Toulouse, Europe’s aerospace capital, the Toulouse Space Festival offers an open and accessible approach to a sector often reserved for specialists. Over several days, the event combines sessions dedicated to schools and students—focusing on careers, education pathways, and interactions with industry professionals—with programming open to the general public, including conferences, immersive experiences, and scientific activities.

The aim is to share the challenges of space exploration and to inspire new vocations, particularly among younger audiences.

The 2025 edition brought together 12,500 visitors, 90 exhibitors, and more than 80 conferences, with the participation of major industry players such as Airbus Defence and Space, CNES, Thales Alenia Space, and European Space Agency.

Recognizing the role of venues in event creatio

For MEETT and Toulouse events, this distinction highlights a specific expertise: designing events that resonate with the major industries of a region and shaping them into key, structuring gatherings.

By leveraging the Group’s expertise and a committed ecosystem of partners—including advanced business events (abe) and Toulouse Team—the Toulouse Space Festival reflects a collective dynamic that supports the economic and scientific influence of the destination.

Stronger prospects for the region

Beyond industry recognition, this award reinforces Toulouse’s position as a leading destination for events related to high-tech industries. It also opens up new opportunities for the development of the festival and for the continued engagement of partners contributing to its growth.

Through initiatives like this, GL events continues to support regions and industries by developing event formats that foster connections, showcase local expertise, and make complex challenges accessible to wider audiences.
