GL EVENTS: A SUSTAINABILITY CHARTER SUPPORTING A CONCRETE CSR POLICY
In a sector where human interaction now comes with strong expectations of responsibility, GL events has published its Sustainability Charter — a reference document that formalizes the Group’s commitments around three founding acts: People, Planet and Communities.
Three Acts to Structure a Global Approach
This Charter continues a CSR policy initiated back in 2009. It demonstrates the consistency of actions already implemented across all our businesses and regions, in close collaboration with our employees, partners, and clients.
The three Acts — People, Planet and Communities — embody GL events’ ambition to act for people, for the environment, and for local territories:
Act 1 – People
GL events Group strives to ensure a safe, healthy, and fulfilling working environment for its teams and stakeholders.
Act 2 – Planet
Aware of its carbon footprint, the Group is committed to a strategy of decarbonization and resource preservation by promoting its historical rental model.
Act 3 – Communities
Wherever it operates, GL events affirms its responsibility towards communities by contributing to the economic, sustainable, and social development of the regions. True to its commitments, the Group has integrated its responsible purchasing policy into an approach aligned with current standards.
A Collective and Lasting Commitment
The Sustainability Charter does not introduce a new approach — it formalizes a collective commitment already at work within the Group. It provides a common framework for all subsidiaries, sites, and activities, in line with existing certifications (notably ISO 20121) and the Group’s long-term ambitions.
Aligned with GL events’ ESG roadmap, this Charter guides our teams in their choices and priorities. It ensures that operational decisions are consistent with a sustainable business model built on innovation, responsibility, and solidarity.
