The Metz Evénements team is proud to have hosted a G7 meeting

Ministers from France, the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, the United States, Italy and Germany got together on 5 and 6 May at the Metz Congrès Robert Schuman for the G7 Environment, Oceans and Energy Meetings to discuss the challenges of the global energy transition.

After taking part in a selection process involving several cities, Metz was selected as the host city for the G7 Environment meeting. GL events and the local council managed to effectively promote the assets of this eco-responsible city located in the heart of Western Europe, just a few dozen kilometres from Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. They also highlighted the high-quality facilities of the Metz Congrès Robert Schuman: all the guests enjoyed the modern, accessible building and its well-lit event spaces.
