EQUITA LYON 2025: THE EQUESTRIAN EXPERIENCE AT EUREXPO LYON

From October 29 to November 2, 2025, Eurexpo Lyon will host a new edition of Equita Lyon, the Lyon Horse Show, and its Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International (CHI).

Organized, hosted, and equipped by GL events, the event showcases the Group’s complementary expertise and its ability to bring together sport, culture, and the general public in one venue.

A flagship event for the equestrian industry

Spanning more than 140,000 m², Equita Lyon gathers thousands of enthusiasts, riders, breeders, and exhibitors every year around a shared passion: celebrating the diversity of the equestrian world.

Over five days, competitions, shows, demonstrations, and exhibition areas make Eurexpo a must-attend meeting point for the entire industry.

International show jumping, dressage, driving, and pony competitions will once again be featured — including several FEI World Cup™ legs and the prestigious Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™, one of the highlights of the event.

The international arena will be broadcast live and free of charge on ChevalTV (Canal+ channel 76/106, Orange 174, Free 175, Bouygues 194) as well as on EquitaTV.

An edition focused on equine well-being

The 2025 edition will spotlight horse welfare, with a dedicated conference day hosted by Kamel Boudra, equestrian sports specialist, on the theme: Equine well-being in riding centers: from theory to practice.

This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of GL events Equestrian Sport, which has been working for years to promote responsible and respectful equestrian practices.

A strong international dimension

Renowned for its expertise in organizing major equestrian events, GL events Equestrian Sport contributes to the global development of equestrian disciplines.

Equita Lyon notably hosts the only European qualifying leg of the American Run For A Million reining competition, strengthening the ties between European and international equestrian scenes.

An experience open to all

Beyond the sporting competitions, Equita Lyon offers a wide range of spaces dedicated to discovery and conviviality: a children’s village, health and wellness hub, western area, equestrian cabarets, and various food and leisure spaces.

The event stands out for its unique ability to bring together professionals, amateurs, and families around a shared passion.
