CULTURES AND TERRITORIES

Present throughout France, GL events has been supporting the development of diverse cultural projects for many years, working closely with public stakeholders, institutions, and artistic operators. Concerts, festivals, exhibitions, contemporary art, immersive events… the variety of supported initiatives reflects the richness of cultural expressions that the Group seeks to promote.

Through its venues and event expertise, GL events provides technical know-how and infrastructures to foster cultural creation and dissemination. This approach is driven by a strong conviction: culture is a vital vector of cohesion, openness, and vitality for territories.

COMMITMENTS TO CULTURAL STAKEHOLDER

GL events’ commitment to culture is also reflected in long-term partnerships with operators and cultural institutions.

In France, the Group works with the Lyon Biennials of Dance and Contemporary Art, the Art Explora Foundation, and the association Sport dans la Ville, in support of initiatives that encourage access to culture and social connection. Internationally, this dynamic continues with, for example, GL events’ support of Artissima, the contemporary art fair held in Turin at the Oval Lingotto Fiere.

In close collaboration with sector stakeholders—artists, producers, programmers, and local authorities—GL events helps create the conditions for ambitious projects to emerge and reach audiences. Through these commitments, GL events contributes to embedding culture at the heart of territories, facilitating its dissemination and its encounter with the public.

SUPPORTING CULTURAL PROJECTS IN THEIR DIVERSIT

GL events applies its expertise to a wide range of cultural forms—artistic, scientific, or heritage-based. Through its sites, exhibition centers, convention centers, and unique venues, the Group hosts cultural projects of all sizes, contributing to an accessible, diverse, and locally rooted offer.

Concerts, performing arts, immersive projects such as the exhibitions Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: A Little Prince Among Men and Titanic: An Immersive Voyage, or contemporary art fairs such as ST-ART in Strasbourg: the teams mobilize their know-how to create optimal conditions for hosting, scenography, logistics, and mediation. Their support is grounded in proven operational expertise, backed by integrated internal resources—carpentry and painting workshops, design studios, signage—that allow spaces to be transformed and each project adapted to its specific requirements.

Through this engagement, GL events positions itself as a partner to cultural initiatives, with constant attention paid to their local anchoring, accessibility, and contribution to the vitality of territories.

STRONG TERRITORIAL ROOTS AND SHARED RESPONSIBILITY

GL events’ action is rooted in a close relationship with territories. By supporting cultural events in numerous French cities, the Group directly contributes to local economic, social, and tourism development. The impacts are manifold: involving local sectors (suppliers, artisans, artistic teams, technicians), boosting retail, hospitality, and catering, enriching the cultural offer for both residents and visitors, and enhancing heritage while highlighting public facilities.

Aware of the challenges of environmental transition in the event sector, GL events incorporates concrete commitments in its approach to cultural projects. This includes eco-designed installations, systematic reuse of materials, reduced energy consumption, the adoption of more resource-efficient technical solutions, and optimized logistics to limit transport and environmental impacts. These principles underpin all operations carried out alongside cultural partners, within a framework of shared responsibility with territories.
