AUX VIGNOBLES!: FROM LOCAL ROOTS TO INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
With Aux Vignobles!, GL events has been supporting for several years a trade show concept dedicated to direct encounters between independent winemakers and wine enthusiasts. Rolled out across numerous French cities, the event is rooted in close connections with local territories and producers, while now opening up new international opportunities.
An event deeply rooted in local territories
Aux Vignobles! is built on a simple conviction: bringing producers closer to their audiences.
Organized in 18 cities across France, mainly in the Greater West, as well as in Biarritz, Limoges, and Metz, the event allows visitors to discover a carefully curated selection of wine estates and gourmet products, in a format that prioritizes direct exchange with producers.
The model is based on a clear balance: 70% independent winemakers and 30% gastronomy, representing all French wine regions. Each exhibitor is selected not only for the quality of their products but also for their ability to share the story of their estate, terroir, and vintages.
This positioning enables Aux Vignobles! to play a structuring role within the sector: offering small producers direct access to new markets while showcasing the diversity and authenticity of French wines. Each year, the shows attract nearly 200,000 visitors, making them a true observatory of consumption trends.
Supporting producers in line with their challenges
Beyond organizing trade shows, Aux Vignobles! has developed a support-driven approach for the sector.
Teams continuously adapt the composition of each event to visitor expectations, based on regular surveys and a national barometer of consumption habits.
This attentive approach allows for adjustments in the representation of wine regions and product types depending on local markets, ensuring a relevant offering in each territory. The event thus becomes a space for meetings, discovery, and business development for producers.
A first step toward international expansion
Building on its success in France, the Aux Vignobles! team launched a new dynamic in 2025: supporting winemakers in their export development.
This led to participation in Sirha Budapest (Hungary), with a dedicated “Aux Vignobles!” area integrated into the event. This first initiative enabled 22 French winemakers to meet importers, restaurateurs, and industry professionals from across Central and Eastern Europe.
Hungary was identified as a strategic hub for Eastern European markets, with growing demand for premium French wines. Initial feedback highlights strong interest from professionals and numerous commercial contacts established.
Leveraging GL events Group expertise
This initiative also illustrates the complementarity of expertise within the GL events Group.
The event relied on GL events Exhibitions, through the Aux Vignobles! brand and Sirha Budapest, as well as GL events Venues, with the exhibition hosted at the Hungexpo exhibition center.
This collaboration enabled a turnkey offer for producers, including logistics for sample transportation and support in establishing commercial connections with local importers, notably through the presence of on-site translators.
A model set to expand
This first edition marks an important step in the international development strategy of Aux Vignobles!
Teams are now working to assess long-term commercial outcomes and identify new destinations where this format can be deployed. The ambition is clear: leverage the French territorial network to support producers in accessing new markets, relying on the international network and infrastructure of GL events.
Through this initiative, Aux Vignobles! demonstrates the Group’s ability to connect territories, industries, and international markets, in support of producers’ growth and the promotion of French wines.
