Organised by GL events in collaboration with Frédéric Michalak, this new event will take place from 19 to 21 September 2019 at Matmut Stadium and the Palais des Sports in Lyon.

Sport Unlimitech aims to highlight the importance of science and innovation in the development of different sports and various related areas: infrastructures, facilities and equipment, nutrition and health, virtual reality, data, etc. With this in mind, several personalities will be taking part in a series of conferences, workshops and activities organised during the festival, such as Yannick Noah, Éric Abidal, Sébastien Loeb, Gilberto Silva, Wendie Renard, Etienne Klein, Taig Khris and Frédérique Vidal, the French Minister for Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

During the three days, participants will have the opportunity to discuss key topics that will impact sport in the future, such as the role of virtual reality in helping to train athletes, the use of technology to prevent injuries and the improvement of athletes' performance thanks to neuroscience. They will also be able to gain an insight into the booming sector of Sport Tech, presented by the main European incubators and business accelerators.

Many activities will be organised during the festival, such as the first viewing party for the Z Event charity event, and an E-sport marathon which will be collecting donations for the Institut Pasteur.

To support the French rugby team, their opening match against Argentina at the Rugby World Cup in Japan will be broadcast in the Match Zone.

Working in collaboration with the sports' business sector, the festival brings together all the stakeholders involved in the sporting world.
