A showcase for gourmet products

Organised by GL events Exhibitions, the Wine and Gastronomy Fairs provide a real showcase for French wines (from small or large vineyards) and regional culinary specialities. After Biarritz, Vertou and Le Havre, the Wine and Gastronomy Show is stopping off at the Metz Exhibition Centre from 28 February to 1 March 2020 for the 20th Metz Wine and Gastronomy Fair.

Hundreds of winegrowers, manufacturers, retailers and craftsmen and women will be presenting their expertise and sharing their passion for fine food and wine. The fair will present a host of delicacies catering for every taste: chocolates or teas, deli meats and cheeses, organic wines, craft wines or wines with an appellation d’origine contrôlée. And obviously, visitors can taste the products on site…

Focus on organic produce and short distribution channels at this year's fair

Those who are interested in organic farming will be able to follow a specific path around the fair to meet exhibitors selling organic farm produce. Visitors will be able to identify the stands with "organic produce" thanks to a specific logo. The exhibitors will offer tasting sessions and be available to explain their processes and work to visitors..

The fair will include a "Local Products Village" devoted to the specific regional know-how of Moselle's artisans and producers. This area has been designed to promote local agriculture, organic produce, and the quality and traceability of products. Products are sold directly at the show and visitors can therefore get expert advice on site. They also benefit from exclusive "direct from the producer" prices to suit every budget.

Whether you are a gourmet, wine lover or just someone who wants to enjoy a great day, the Wine & Gastronomy Fair will whet your appetite!
