Première Vision Paris, the trade show for fashion design professionals, is organising a hybrid version of the event in order to support all the industry's players, despite the ongoing Covid situation.

On 18 December 2021, the Lyon Convention Centre, a GL events venue, hosted the first eco-responsible, solidarity-oriented Christmas market  baptised "les Halles Inclusives" (Inclusive Market), organised by the Prête-moi tes ailes Association and sponsored by the GL events Group.

The worldwide skills competition for young people

WorldSkills is a trade-skills competition that gives young professionals the opportunity to measure themselves against participants from all over the world in this international competition. The preliminary stage of the French National Finals was organised all around France between April and October 2021, in order to select the regional champions for each of the trades involved, ranging from masonry to hairdressing and food services.

This year's event will focus on 3 main themes
 

BePOSITIVE, the, French trade fair devoted to energy transition issues and solutions, will take place from 14 to 16 December 2021 at Eurexpo, Lyon.

This year's event will bring together all the players from the building and energy sectors and address three key themes: the large-scale implementation of energy-efficiency renovations, heating and cooling networks and the digitisation of energy solutions. 
 

Bourg-la-Reine, a preparation centre for 2024

After being awarded the Terre de Jeux label and designated as a Games Preparation Centre for 2024, the town of Bourg-La-Reine (Hauts-de-Seine department) decided to extend its sports facilities, devoted to fencing and martial arts.

SEPEM Industries Angers, solutions for core factory processes in every industry

The 7th SEPEM Industries Centre-Ouest (Central and Western France) will take place at the Parc des Expositions in Angers, from 23 to 25 November 2021. It will be held in parallel with the first Forum de l’électronique (Electronics Forum), the specialist trade fair devoted to innovation, imaging and electronic solutions. 

GL events and Viparis join forces to reduce the carbon footprint of events

Based on the shared goal of reducing the environmental impact of events, GL events has agreed a partnership with Viparis to lease 8,000m² in Hall 8 at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre, which will be used as storage space for the equipment needed to install the stands for the Première Vision Paris trade fair, a major international event for the fashion industry.
