International fashion design in the heart of the French capital

The international event for professionals in the fashion industry opens today until 19 September at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre. With some 2056 exhibitors, this unique event - organised by Première Vision SA, a company in which GL events Exhibitions has a 49% shareholding - brings together all the products, services and expertise required to create the next ready-to-wear collections, from design to manufacturing.

Première Vision Paris is a major event for all the industry's players and this year's show will be presenting the new creative inspirations for the Autumn-Winter 2020/2021 season, focusing on 6 key areas of expertise: yarns, fabrics, leather goods, designs, accessories and custom production.


Eco-responsible design and production is becoming an increasingly important issue at the event, as highlighted by: 

-    The "Smart Creation Area" which will be presenting the main initiatives in terms of eco-responsible fashion in a space covering more than 1,200m² ,
-    A study conducted jointly by Première Vision and the Institut Français de la Mode (French Fashion Institute) - the IFM-Première Vision Chair – which identifies the expectations of European consumers on this issue.


The show will also focus on the strong influence of sport on fashion, with a comprehensive, cross-sector Sport & Tech area, as well as a dedicated forum.
The leather-goods sector will also be in the spotlight, with a series of conferences focusing on the sector's specific expertise, in partnership with Les Compagnons du Devoir (Trade Association).
Another highlight of the show will be the PV Awards, which will reward manufacturers' creativity. The awards ceremony will be followed by a Purple Addict, open to visitors and exhibitors.
