Visit both shows and take advantage of the great synergies between the attributes of rocks and plants
From 3 to 5 December 2019, Paysalia and Rocalia will take place at Eurexpo Lyon.
This year, a key focus will be the close relationship between landscapes and natural stone. Paysalia - the trade fair devoted to landscaping, gardening and sport - and Rocalia - the natural stone exhibition - were first organised in tandem in 2017 and the synergy between the two events will be further highlighted this year. Organising Rocalia and Paysalia at the same time provides a unique opportunity for professionals from both sectors to meet and talk about their shared challenges and opportunities.
Paysalia has established itself as THE trade fair the Landscaping, Gardening & Sport sector over the past 10 years.
Co-produced by UNEP (the French National Union of Landscapers) and GL events Exhibitions, Paysalia is the leading trade fair for all the players in the landscape sector in France.
Since 2009, the fair has brought together all the professions related to landscaping in order to promote exchanges and drive the sector forward. This year, more than 740 exhibitors will be at the show representing various specialist fields: materials, plant production, services, design, machinery and equipment, maintenance, water and irrigation, soils and sports equipment.
The three-day programme includes conferences, workshops, technical demonstrations and feedback on practical experiences, focusing on topical issues such as: increasing attractiveness for tourists through landscaping, re-injecting dynamism into city centres and improving to safety through landscaping.

Design will be placed centre stage this year at the Rocalia Design Exhibition, presenting natural stone designs proposed by exhibitors.
In 2017, Rocalia presented an exhibition on "stereotomy, a complex, artistic construction technique based on the art of cutting stone. This year, visitors will be able to discover how this technique can be applied through the presentation of the "acoustic shell", a spectacular architectural work in natural stone, designed by Giuseppe Fallacara and produced by the Compagnons du Devoir.
The French Federation of Dry Stone Wall Professionals (FFPPS) will be giving a demonstration in a dedicated area. For the occasion, the dry-stone wall builders will join forces with the Graveurs de Pierre Parisiens (Parisian Stone Engravers) to create an innovative joint project during the 3 days of the show.
