GL EVENTS WINS A MAJOR CONTRACT FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF THE 2026 ASIAN AND PARA-ASIAN GAMES IN AICHI-NAGOYA, JAPAN

 

A new international challenge for the Group, serving one of the largest sporting events on the Asian continent.

After the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia, the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and Paris 2024, GL events continues its commitment at the heart of the world’s greatest sporting events.

The Group has been selected by the Organizing Committee of the 2026 Asian and Para-Asian Games to design, equip, and manage the 58 venues that will host this large-scale event in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. Over nearly three weeks, more than 15,000 athletes, para-athletes, and officials from 45 countries will compete in 41 disciplines, making this one of the most significant sporting events on the Asian continent.

 

GLOBAL EXPERTISE SERVING THE WORLD’S GREATEST EVENTS

As the Event Delivery Entity, GL events will deploy a wide range of expertise: venue studies and design, installation of temporary infrastructures, fit-out of hospitality and media zones, management of access and accreditations, coordination of medal ceremonies… A comprehensive approach, designed to support organizers at every key stage of the event.

This new contract further confirms GL events’ expertise in managing complex, tailor-made international projects. It highlights the Group’s ability to deliver sustainable and innovative solutions that meet both organizers’ requirements and today’s event industry challenges.
