The world's top show-jumpers will once again go head to head under the glass nave of the Grand Palais during the third Saut Hermès.
After the success of the first two events in 2010 and 2011, the Saut Hermès will take place at the Grand Palais on 16, 17 and 18 March 2012.
Over these three days, the greatest riders in the world will come together to take part in an international CSI5* show-jumping competition under the glass nave of this legendary Parisian monument.
Up-and-coming riders will have their own show-jumping competition with the "Talents Hermès", which was specially created in 2011 for riders under 25 years old.
Once again, Hermès, the organiser of the competition, has renewed its partnership with the GL events Group for the production of the event.
All of GL events' teams, headed up by Sylvie Robert, the President of Equita, have been working on the organisation in order to design specially adapted installations and fittings for this unique equestrian event and ensure the very best reception conditions for the international riders.
"Le Temps devant soi" (The Gift of Time): The four thousand spectators expected at this year's event will also have the opportunity to attend an original new show by the Equestrian Show Academy of Versailles, with choreography by Bartabas based on the music of Ravel's Bolero.
One thing is sure. There will be a fantastic atmosphere again this year as the glass nave of the Grand Palais resonates to the sound of horses' hooves and standing ovations!
Boléro. Composer : Maurice Ravel
