Major Developments for Venue and Event Management

Acquisition of Emap Agor and the Turin Exhibition Park

The tradeshow organization in France strengthened with the acquisition of Emap Agor

GL events announces the acquisition of Emap Agor, a French subsidiary of the Emap PLC Group. Specialized in the organization of B-to-B trade shows, Emap Agor has sales of €20 million with a catalogue of proprietary events in Paris, Lyon and Rennes including Tradexpo, the Volume Goods Trade Show (Paris), CFIA Food Industry Suppliers Trade Show (Rennes) and MDD Food & Goods (Paris). These three events generate sales respectively of approximately €9 million, €5.5 million and €3 million.

To be consolidated in the 2007 second half, Emap Agor has an operating margin of more than 25%. As major trade fairs are organized in the first half of each year, it will have a positive impact on the financial statements beginning in January 2008.

This acquisition further strengthens GL events' catalogue of trade fairs in Paris and other French regions and will provide the Group with new opportunities to duplicate these successful events at other venues that are part of its worldwide network.

Turin: a second premium destination for Italy

GL events also announces today the acquisition of the Turin Exhibition Park. It now has two venues in Italy with the Padua Exhibition Centre.

The Lingotto Fiere represents a total area of 96,000 m² with 5 exhibition halls and 52,000 m² of modular covered space capable of hosting every type of event. In 2006 the Park had sales of €6 million.

After having strengthened capabilities in the organization of trade fairs in Italy with the acquisition of Promotor International, GL events now reinforces its capacity to host events in this country that represents one of Europe's three largest markets and will contribute €36 million to Group sales on a full-year basis.

Addition of a new venue in Brazil: the Curitiba Convention Centre

GL events announces the signature of a five-year management agreement to operate the Curitiba Convention Centre in Brazil. With a capacity to receive as many as 5000 participants, the venue has a staff of 20 and annual sales of approximately €2.8 million.

GL events now has a portfolio of 23 venues under management in highly attractive locations (including Paris, Lyon, London, Barcelona, Padua, Brussels, Budapest, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai and now Turin) confirming its expansion in the segment of premium destinations.

With the acquisition of Emap Agor, GL events has a catalogue of more than 200 proprietary events increasing its ability to duplicate events across its network of venues in line with its strategy.
