The eagerly awaited 77th Metz International Fair opens on 28 September.
750 exhibitors and 1450 references will be showcasing the expertise of 26 different countries at this truly international fair.
The event takes places at the Metz Métropole Exhibition Park which is ideally located in the heart of a 3-million inhabitant catchment area, making the Metz International Fair one of the most important shows in the North-east of France.
Since the Metz Exhibition Park is also hosting the Moselle Open from 15 to 23 September, we should pay tribute to the performance of GL events' technical teams on the ground: they have just 20 hours to dismantle the overlays for the Moselle Open and set up the Fair, which must be ready to welcome the first exhibitors on 25 September. Last year the teams managed the same exploit, but, this year, the Moselle Open will be using 30% more equipment!
What's on show
During the 11-day Fair, the public will have the opportunity to discover products and services in around twenty different sectors, including: housing, furniture, decoration, gardening, swimming pools and spas, gastronomy, arts and crafts, services, well-being, new technologies and agriculture. The Metz International Fair is without doubt one of the major International Fairs in France!
The icing on the cake: this year, the Metz International Fair will take visitors on an amazing journey through the Inca Empire. They will discover the wonders of Machu Picchu, the City of Gold, Lake Titicaca and the tomb of the Lord of Sipan, one of the major archaeological discoveries of the last century.
A host of activities
Among the various activities on the programme, a great lottery draw: participants simply have to put their entrance ticket into a box to have the chance of winning a dining room furniture set, a TV, a swimming pool, and many other prizes. Metz International Fair has also organised something special for schools in the Lorraine area. During an educational excursion to the Exhibition Park, pupils will step into the shoes of adventurers on the trail of the Incas.
