COP 21
The aim of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) was to negotiate a new universal agreement on climate change, in order to maintain global warming below 2°C. GL events supplied and assembled structures for this key event, and also provided audiovisual services, fixtures and fittings for the event spaces.

Organised by the producers of the Golden Moustache (M6 TV channel), the Studio Bagel (Canal+ TV channel) and Mixicom, in collaboration with Live! by GL events, Vidéo City brought together around a hundred of the most popular YouTube video creators. A genuine success!

Maison de la Mutualité
The Maison de la Mutualité was the former headquarters of the French mutual insurance federation . The venue has been managed by GL events since 2010. The Group has renovated the building to return it to its former glory. Today, the venue hosts all types of events, from business meetings and exhibitions to fashion parades.

Equita
This is an event that horse-riding fans look forward to every year. Organised by GL events, Equita is the largest equestrian show in France. Each year, around 3,500 horses take part in the event which attracts over 150,000 visitors.

IMF and the World Bank
The Boards of Governors of the IMF and the World Bank met in Lima (Peru) this year to establish the main priorities and focuses for the two institutions. The production of this large-scale event was entrusted to a consortium made up of GL events and the event agency Stimulus.

GL EVENTS AT THE HEAVENT FAIR

Event experts on the GL events stand and at the conferences and debates.

Heavent is THE fair for professionals in the event, exhibition and congress sector. After the success of 2011, the fair's organisers are hoping to do even better at the 2012 event, which takes place from 27 to 29 November. One of the factors that contributed to the event's success in 2011 was the unity of the event space in Pavilion 4 at the Porte de Versailles, which will once again be the venue, laid out in a dynamic convivial setting, conducive to discussion and exchanging ideas. Indeed, "exchanging ideas" is the very essence of the fair: two evening sessions are even planned on Tuesday and Wednesday: the Heavent Palace Evenings.

In these times of crisis and cuts in communication budgets, the Heavant team is convinced of the necessity to involve customers and partners through innovative, unifying events and is actively promoting the sector. Conferences and debates will bring together "those who produce events that are acknowledged for their audacity." The Hall Expo – GL events grandstand Managing Director will be speaking on the subject of "No major events can succeed without excellent logistics", and addressing the logistic issues linked to large events such as the Olympic Games. The Associate Director of Market Place is invited to speak on the following topics: "How to use technology and decors effectively for events? At what price? For what benefits?” In addition, the Managing Director of Market Place will be taking part in a debate on "Major events: is France condemned to losing?" 

These major players in sporting events, congresses, shows and fairs will be meeting opinion leaders and decision-makers on the GL events stand. A 150m2 stand will present the Group's comprehensive offer, in a very visual setting: a 4.90m x 2.77m video wall, 16 LCD modules of 55 inches and 12 ultra-flat 46-inch LCD screens will showcase the Group's many projects!
