GL events, official supplier of temporary grandstand seating for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia. A total of 60,000 temporary seats were installed in thirteen venues.

Matmut Stadium Inauguration
The project to renovate and modernise the Matmut Stadium in Gerland, launched by Olivier Ginon, the Chairman of GL events, highlights the Group's expertise in terms of engineering, architecture and asset management. The stadium is now home to the LOU Rugby team.

Générale Location posts record-breaking net sales of 604 million french francs, in strong development on its strategic axes: a progression with constant scope of +28 %

Générale Location net sales for the first semester 2000 reach 604 million French Francs (92 Million Euros). With constant exchange rate and scope, the progression reaches 28 %.

Over the first six months of the year, Générale Location, in accordance with its priority strategic axes, reinforces its activity in the market of events and increases in a significant manner the activity realized outside France. Net sales achieved on the export market represents close to a quarter of the total net sales registered during the first semester.

The external growth, initiated during the first six months and already finalized for ISF and Standard Décoration and in the process of an audit for SF Protection, will appear in the scope of consolidation during the second semester. Over a complete year, the additional net sales brought by these companies will be between 200 and 250 MF (30.5 and 38.1 M Euros). The company GL UK, created in June 2000 and present in Singapore for the celebration of National Day, will contribute to the net sales generated by the event market and the export one as early as in the second semester 2000.

Based on the performances of the first semester, Générale Location confirms an evolution of 30% of its activity for the year 2000.
Générale Location will communicate its results for the first semester 2000 on September 7, 2000.
