Located at the crossroads of motorways, this Zenith is among the largest in France with a capacity of up to 8,500 people. The site lies between the plains and mountains facing the plateau of Gergovie and volcanoes of Auvergne. Indeed the size is more than 100 hectares, which also includes the exhibition park of the Grande Halle d’Auvergne.
With its chimney volcano shaped silhouette and its circular windows, this modifiable space presents the acoustic qualities of high architectural standards and has a notable reference signature.
The Grande Halle d’Auvergne and the Zénith can combine together to meet the needs of major events, and several events organized simultaneously.
Clermont-Ferrand is at the heart of France which gives it a strategic position between the north and south of Europe. In order to capitalise on this strategic advantage, the town has opened itself to both national and international markets. The spectacular development of its airport consolidates its dynamism.
Clermont-Ferrand benefits from being home to several well known companies such as Michelin (world's leading tyre manufacturer), Merck Sharp Dhome Chibret (one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies), Reti (world leader in the treatment of cardio-vascular illnesses), and successful SMEs in food processing and metallurgy. Auvergne is also one of the most attractive regions in France. Indeed, the region welcomes more and more conventions, seminars and activities each year.
Clermont-Ferrand has a genuine desire to renew itself through ambitious urban projects, and the presence of its exhibition and congress centre, which drives the city centre life.
Clermont-Ferrand's location on a volcanic hill within a conserved natural environment makes it a special city. The Auvergne Parc des Volcans, the Puy-de-Dôme sites, the tourist attractions in its neighbourhood are too many to name. In this city of art, with its own special charm, the fire and brimstone of the volcanoes lives hand in hand with the abundant spring water that flows from some 51 fountains and pools around the town.

Architecturally, the sombre colours of many of the Clermont-Ferrand buildings never cease to catch the eye of attentive visitors and arouse their curiosity about the use of Volvic stone, the traditional construction material in Auvergne.
