Boasting a young population and with approximately 30,000 students, Amiens deserves its university town name.
In addition to its heritage tourism or its Cathedral which welcomes more than a million visitors each year, Saint-Leu which is an old quarter built on the water, as well as its amphitheatre. Amiens is a great spot for nature tourism. The landscape around the Bay of Somme and its preserved natural spaces which reach almost into the centre of the city are an undeniable proof of this.
