After the famous French victory against the USA in the 1991 Davis Cup final, Lyon will once again be hosting the Davis Cup for the semi-final between France and Argentina to be played on 17, 18 and 19 September 2010 at the Palais des Sports in Gerland.

The "French Badminton Federation" (FFBA), which is in charge of organising the 18th championships, has contracted GL events as service provider and "Official Supporter of the BWF 2010 Badminton World Championships".
