GL events enters into a joint venture
with Yuexiu Group
to jointly develop a network of event sites in China. The first phase will consist in managing a 50,000 m2 convention centre in Gangzhou (Canton), targeted for opening in 2019.

5 - Lyon - Centre de Congrès

The Congress Centre (designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano) is at the heart of this International City and has breathtaking view over a 150 hectare natural park, the Rhône and the Lyon hills.
In addition to 3 amphitheatres and modular exhibition areas, everything is available to ensure that your congress, exhibition or seminar takes place successfully thanks to a full range of technical services.

Lyon, the city of light, combines history, culture and quality living

Lyon has been an international city of trade and exchange for over 2000 years. For large scale congresses, conventions, road-shows & product launches:

  • 3 amphitheatres seating 300, 900 and 3,000,
  • 6 forums with a gross surface area of 8,400 sqm on the same level, suitable for any configuration : plenary sessions, exhibitions, gala evenings etc., accommodating 500 to 4,000 people.

For all events, including meetings, seminars and conferences:

  • 26 committee rooms accommodating from 20 to 450,
  • 3 reception areas of 300 sqm, 850 sqm and 1,860 sqm.
