IAPCO has chosen Package to organise its 43rd annual congress and general meeting
The event will take place in Paris thanks, in particular, to the partnership between 5 major players in the Paris business tourism sector: the "Bureau des Congrès de Paris" (Paris Congress Office), GL events, Viparis, the Concorde La Fayette hotel and the catering company Lenôtre.
The International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) is a non-profit-making association founded in 1968 which represents 100 members from 35 countries. Since 2009, Package has been a member of this reference organisation for professional organisers of congresses, meetings, conventions and special national or international events.
This event will bring together more than 150 professional congress organisers at the Paris Convention Centre from 16 to 19 February 2012. GL events' global offer will be highlighted to these key accounts during an extraordinary "convivial dinner" at the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild on 17 February.
The congress will include several workshop sessions on themes such as:
- How to organise accessible events?
- How to meet the new expectations of customers?
- Opening up to practical social network applications.
- What will be the role of PCOs in the future?

The association's members organise a total of 5,600 events a year, representing:
- A little over 2.11 million participants
- More than 500,000m² of exhibition area rented
- More than 3.43 billion euros in terms of economic impact.
